Pine Lakes Community is a subdivision in Ringgold, Georgia that feels like one big family. There's a clubhouse and a pool where neighbors gather just because. It doesn't matter if you're in your late 20s or your 80s, everybody shows up for a celebration, or honestly, just a sunny Saturday. Half the neighborhood gets around on golf carts, so hopping over to a friend's house or down to the pool is easy.

You're close to everything you need: a couple of good restaurants, a grocery store, and a hospital just a short drive away. Pine Lakes is filling up nicely, with the last of the homes underway now, so you're not moving into a neighborhood that's going to feel like a construction zone forever.

And I'll tell you something personal: I think about downsizing more and more now that my kids are grown and out of the house. When I finally do, I'm not going far; I'm heading right down the road to Pine Lakes myself.
